Import Workflow

Open Base Data Manager

Go to Assessments > Base Data Manager.

Prepare accepted files

Upload supported base data file types (.X0*) or ZIP containing valid base data files.

Create import batch

Enter optional series label, upload files, and start import. System creates batch, file, and record entries.

Review parsed records

Validate detected record families (for example C/L/O/S records), titles, and codes before operational use.

Correct and re-import if needed

If parse output is wrong or incomplete, delete the bad batch and import corrected files.

Validate against live workflows

Create a test sitting and verify expected data appears correctly in sittings, slips, and invigilation screens.

Batch Maintenance

Use batch-level delete for single correction, or cleanup-all when multiple failed imports need removing. Always keep one known-good batch for rollback confidence.
