Collections
Collections group related exam sittings together — for example, all the sittings for a specific exam session. They also control which invigilators can see and manage those sittings.
Creating a collection
Go to Manage Collections
Click Manage Collections from the dashboard or the left-hand navigation menu.
Click "Create Collection"
Click the Create Collection button at the top of the page.
Name the collection
Give the collection a descriptive name your team will recognise, for example "Mock Exams — June 2025" or "AS Level Sitting — Period 3".
Assign invigilators (optional but recommended)
Select one or more staff members as invigilators for this collection. You can add or change invigilators at any time.
Save
Click Save Collection. The collection is now available to assign sittings to.
Managing an existing collection
From Manage Collections, click any collection to open its detail page. Here you can:
- View all sittings in the collection with their current statuses
- Add or remove invigilators
- See statistics — total sittings, last exam date
- Rename the collection
- Archive the collection (hides it from active views but retains data)
- Delete the collection (also deletes all sittings within it)
Assigning invigilators
Open the collection
Go to Manage Collections and click the collection you want to update.
Click "Manage Invigilators"
On the collection detail page, click the Manage Invigilators button.
Add or remove invigilators
Tick the checkboxes next to the staff members you want to assign, or untick to remove them. Click Save.
Archiving and deleting collections
