First-time login & 2FA setup

â„šī¸
What you need A smartphone with an authenticator app. We recommend Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy. All are free from the App Store or Google Play.
1

Open the XamPro login page

Navigate to your XamPro URL (provided by your account manager). You will see the login form with an email and password field.

2

Enter your email and password

Type your email address and the temporary password you were given. Passwords are case-sensitive. Click Sign In.

3

Set up your authenticator app

On first login you will be shown a QR code. Open your authenticator app, tap + (or "Add account"), and choose Scan QR code. Point your camera at the QR code on screen. Your app will add "XamPro" as a new account and start showing a 6-digit code that changes every 30 seconds.

4

Enter the verification code

Type the current 6-digit code from your authenticator app into the verification field, then click Verify. You have 30 seconds before the code refreshes — if it expires just enter the next one.

5

Change your password (if prompted)

If this is your first login you may be asked to set a new password. Passwords must be at least 8 characters and include uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and at least one special character (e.g. !, @, #).

6

You're in!

You will be taken to the XamPro dashboard. On future logins you only need your email, password, and the current 6-digit code from your authenticator app.

Every-day login (after setup)

Common issues

I've lost access to my authenticator app — what do I do? ▾
Contact your XamPro administrator. They can reset your 2FA from the User Management page, which will prompt you to re-scan a new QR code on your next login.
My 6-digit code is being rejected ▾
The most common cause is that the time on your phone is slightly out of sync. Open your phone's settings and enable automatic time synchronisation ("Set time automatically"). Codes are only valid for 30 seconds — also make sure you are entering a fresh code, not one that is about to expire.
I forgot my password ▾
Ask your XamPro administrator to reset your password from the User Management page. They can set a new temporary password which you will then be asked to change on first login.
I set up a new phone and lost my 2FA codes ▾
Your 2FA codes are linked to the device and app used during setup. If you have a new phone you must ask an administrator to reset your 2FA. Once reset, log in and you will be prompted to re-scan a QR code with your new device.
My account is disabled — how do I regain access? ▾
Accounts may be disabled by an administrator. Contact your XamPro administrator or account manager to have your account re-enabled.

Keep your authenticator safe Your authenticator app is the key to your XamPro account. Do not share it. If you use Authy or a backup-enabled app, make sure your backups are secured with a strong PIN.
