Before you begin You will need your login credentials (email and password) provided by your XamPro account manager, and a smartphone with an authenticator app installed (such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator).

Step-by-step setup

Sign in and set up Two-Factor Authentication

Go to your XamPro login page and enter your email and password. You will immediately be prompted to set up 2FA — scan the QR code with your authenticator app. You will need to do this once, on your first login only. Detailed 2FA guide →

Explore the dashboard

After logging in you will see the main dashboard. Cards across the centre show your active modules (Exam Management, SMS, Reports, etc.). The header shows any warnings such as MIS sync age or unassigned collections.

Add staff accounts (optional)

If you have colleagues who will manage exams or invigilate, create their accounts under Settings → User Management. User management guide →

Create a Collection

Collections group related sittings together (e.g. "Mock Exams June 2025"). Go to Manage Collections → Create Collection. Collections guide →

Create your first exam sitting

Go to Exam Sittings → Create Sitting. Enter the candidate's name, exam number, paper name, and start/end times. XamPro automatically generates a unique sitting code. Full sittings guide →

Print or share the sitting slip

From the sittings list, click the sitting to view and print the sitting slip. It contains the candidate's unique access code — they will need this on exam day.

The candidate sits their exam

On exam day the candidate opens candidate.xampro.co.uk, enters their unique code, accepts the disclaimer, and begins the exam. The timer counts down automatically and the session locks at the end time. Candidate guide →
